I've checked on the German amazon, and it's not there anymore. So I guess only time will tell...

What they need to do is take a cue from Sony and make it a little easier to upgrade your hard drive (basically so all we have to do is take the HD out of it's housing, partion, and slap it back in). They also need to start letting people put game saves on USB drives instead of buying a memory unit. I paid $20 for a 512mb memory unit. For the same price, I can buy an 8GB USB flash drive on newegg. I realize they want "quality control", but I would bet a USB drive would pass many more quality standards than the memory unit. I have washed my USB drive in my pants pocket a couple times with absolutely no problems - I would never trust that cheap memory unit in the same test!

That must be one clean, shiny USB drive.

It's like a neglected child. Always gets forgotten about and has lost it's lid, otherwise would have been on my keys with the other important ones.

They don't want usb drives because then it be easier for people to hack saved games. At least now you have to buy extra hardware for it.
A 250g drive would be nice but I think a 500g would be overkill for the majority of users. And I'm sure MS is waiting to see how well this new round of the slim vs the $300 elite goes. I'm sure devs/pubs are hoping like hell that the PS3 software will actually make a profit for them now. haha

Especially since the PS3 is much more a pain in the ass to develop games for than the 360...

Regarding this again, just noticed that Forza 3 is out on the 23rd of October in some parts.
Usually games are sent out about 2 weeks prior to release I believe, so we should start seeing these beginning of October?

Forza 3 was linked together with the "Super Elite" that was for pre-order on German Amazon and that South African ad.

lol, "ADD" is a language? Anyway, seeing though it is a brand it would be forza 3 in any language.
On topic: I'm almost 100% sure the south african ad for the super elite is fake, they didn't even put the right currency on it,
