Halo 3 Elite Bundle what version Liteon?

The HAlo 3 Elite was just released in Canada only and I am wondering if the elites that it comes with are brand new Liteon 83850c which are now soft moddable? If any one has bought one of these could they please let me know. I just don't want to risk getting a earlier version of Liteon because I do not have any of the tools needed to mod it.

If the manufacture date is after May 2009, I'm betting it has the 83850C.

That site didn't have NTSC Elite consoles thanks anyway. I will just check my friends because his is most likely from the same lot.

Even though they don't have Elites posted, you can still use the LOT number. Looks like LOT 0922 and above should have the 83850C.

If it's a new xbox it will have the jasper chipset, which is the newest and least likely to rrod.

It turns out it was just the Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones Elite Bundel with a Halo 3 sticker on the box that you could pull off. The manufacteur date was December 2008 and the LOT number 0840 or 0841, so much for a "new" xbox.
