So i have this Halo edition xbox 360, and its pretty legit. only problem is i dont have the original power adapter. it appears to be a Zephyr generation xbox, yet i cant use my first gen (white) 360's power cord with it. the cord fits nice and snug into the white one yet it is very loose in the Halo xbox. Anybody have an idea? i also have a Falcon xbox. psu on that one is obviously a no go.

A 203W power supply is the correct supply for a xenon and zephyr but some of them have the 2 catches with buttons on them to keep them in, you have to press them to release it from the xbox and some don't have them. Some xboxs I've had the power supply has to be forced in and out firmly but some are just looser. If it works and nothings missing from where the supply goes in then it's nothing to worry about.
Edit: It has to be a 203 watt one for a zephyr and xenon, a 203W will also fit a falcon (175W) and jasper(150W). The falcon one fits a jasper too but jasper won't fit falcon, zephyr or xenon. falcon won't fit zephyr and xenon. If it's not powerful enough there's tabs to stop it going into the xbox but it's ok to use a more powerful supply than the xbox takes. 203W is the one I have since it fits all the models.
It has the plastic thing that is supposed to lock in, but it just doesn't with that brick. Fits snug in the Xenon. Tried afriends Zephyr adapter, worked perfectly. Fit in nice and tight and you needed to press the pins to get it out. Why is it different?
