i made some backups of a few games on cheap maxwell dvd's. now i want to rewrite them on some verbatims. the problem is whenever i try to create an image of the original back up the dvd is never detected. whats going wrong here?

How are you trying to back it up (what software)? If you go in My Computer, does it show a disk in your DVD drive?

no it doesnt show a disc. i was trying to use imgburn

Unlucky, seems to be crappy media then. Best thing to do is either try in another PC or re-download.
