Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find a firm yes/no answer.
I have a flashed x-box (lite-On) that I can use to play some games on; however I love my achievements.
Can I take my HDD from my legit/online x-box and play my back-up on my flashed drive...unlock my achievements...then swap back to the original box and play online games with my friends without getting a ban?
It should work, I just wanted to be sure before I do it.
I've found a few (varied) answers on Google searches but I've come to trust people on this forum moreso than a random Google search.
So I can swap the HDD back and forth and there's a possibility that my gamertag could get banned? Some people claim that a profile can't be banned; I've read that in posts as recent as Sept. 2010.
I've also read there's ways to recover your banned gamertag and NOT lose anything before the ban, is that true?
Yeah, the console gets banned not the gamer profile. That was the case with me. I had a modded console that got banned, then got another console and used my HDD with the same profile.
All I've read is that when you get banned, all your saves get corrupted.
