i have used hddhackr to flash a 120gb bevs made 2009 and it showed up once and now wont work.
will v1.22 recover it??
any advice is welcome i do have the undo.bin but the drive does not appear to spin up.

Try not plugging in the sata cable to the drive until after you have booted into dos. That has been reported to work sometimes.

Is it detected in the BIOS?

Perhaps a tool like FixMBR or FDISK might be able to see it/fix it?

If it's flashed, have you tried hooking it up to the 360 and having a go of it there?

thanks for all the replies.
i will try some of the idea's tonight.
the bios will not see the drive or will vraid for for via6421a.it wont show in either of these.
it let me format it in the 360 then never worked again after that.
i will let all know the results.

im pretty sure its dead as sometimes it gives me 1 rrod then other times nothing.bios wont see it and hddhackr says cant write flash.

If the flash didn't take for some reason, and you tried running the undo bin, it will kill the drive. Not for sure if that is what happened but just thought I would throw that in there. Hddhackr just recently fixed an issue with some chipset compatibility. Hddhackr said it completed successfully but hadn't and if you ran the undo bin, it would kill the drive.

Edit- hddhackr can brute force drives that has been misflashed. The commands are in the readme in the latest hddhackr.
