HDDHACKR FREEZES HELP PLEASE

i have an ich10r intel sata controller, i boot to dos on my usb thumdrive and as soo as i type hddhacker.exe the computer just freezes with a blinking cursor, i have my sata mode set to native/ide, any ideas on what im doing wrong? i am using version 1.30

i fixed it, used my parents old ass dell and it worked without issue, thanks for the response though :)
