hello guys i have benq 1.5 firmware but do you need active iso file extract 256mb then burn to clonecd one layer or just leave active iso and dont extract and burn clone cd one layer dvd+R am correct plz email back thx i can play wave 4 game but offline right when my benq 1.6-17 updatet then we can play online right? i have pioneer 116D dual layer but img wont find any pioneer only samsung or benq bla bla k-lite i cant burn it one layer for active iso i hope pm me back thx

activate.iso is useless to you unless you update your benq to 1.61 firmware...

The activate.iso boot disc can only be used on Samsung, BenQ & Lite-On drives running iXtreme 1.6.
iXtreme 1.61 does not need the Activate.iso boot disc to play wave 4 games. 1.61 is currently only available for Samsung & BenQ drives.

end of, and YES its used to play bad rips, thats the bloody point you muppet.
A) i dont do it
b) its not clever
c) its there for people that want it
d) activate.iso is still useful on 1.61
My initial post staying 1.61 was needed was incorrect, however activate.iso is still useful on 1.61, especially for people who dont go on live

dude its fact. anyone that wasnts to play mw2 needs activate.iso at the moment, until a better release comes out.
I do believe however that some releases are creaping out that are stealth passed, however until abx is updated, no one can really know how safe these releases are.
although there is a release out now that apparently is fully stealthed, and will boot without activate.iso, havent tested it myself though
and apologies for my earlier outburst, i wasnt mistaken with my first post, i just simply put 1.61 instead of 1.6, either way though i apologise for the "attitude"

No DUDE, it is not a fact. You downloaded a crap release of MW2 that doesn't have the proper video.iso patched to it. That is why YOU need the activate iso to play MW2, not everybody else. Plus, there is already a scene release of MW2 and it is legit and guess what, it doesn't require the activate ISO on iX 1.61. :D

no, that scene release has just come out. every mw2 release for the past few days required the activate.iso. the new release however, does not because it is in fact properly stealthed. abx just doesnt recognise it as of yet

People were only patching the SS, DMI, and PFI, and not patching in the proper wave 4 video ISO. That makes it a bad ISO and would only play on IX 1.6/1.61 with the activate ISO. People were dumb and uploaded that so now everybody has a bad rip of MW2. If you patch the ISO with the wave 4 video.iso, it plays fine on iX 1.61 without the activate ISO.

however now the proper patched releases are filtering out, hence eliminating the need for activate.iso
