Hi, I was keeping up on the scene have flashed several boxes, all of which got hit in a prior ban wave. I don't care about online, and my box currently plays everything just fine. Can I install the new dash and be good to go (as far as running kinect games and my old ones), or do I have to upgrade to LT first?
Sorry, I keep reading threads and I can't find any clear information on this.

I don't know if this matters or not, but this console plays fable 3 just fine.

Thanks for that. Running the kinect update isn't going to block anything then, right?
I have an old banned xbox, running ixtreme 1.51. I updated that the dashboard so I could play my kinect, and that box was able to play burned kinect games as well as all my others. Hope that helps.
i think it depends on what kind of drive you have, if it is a benq, liteon, or hitachi 79 the update will render fable 3 and some of the kinect games useless. fable 3 would work fine until the dashboard update on those 3 drives, but after the update all ap2.5 games will not work.

If you have ABGX 105, then it will show you right at the start wether it's AP25 or not. I have only seen NFS:HP and AC:B show the AP25 detail. I assume that's it. I haven't seen one Kinect title with AP25, and I've backed up all of them.
