hi there ,i am after some help burning xbox 360 games .
so far i have wasted 8 disc trying to copy it i wasted 4 trying on a computer which failed at 50% i then looked and read some more n just figured out that the dvd rewriter was simply too old so i tried on a different computer followed all instructions and tutorials perfectly it finished 100% and said successful but still when putting into the xbox it says the disc i unreadable it maybe scratched etc etc ... and all that jazz!

i have tried 4 different games and the closest i been was on rockband beatles did it the exact same way as others but it works until i select a song to play but and it says the same disc is unreadable ... any ides or help people ? thanks very much in advance :)

Use Verbatim Dual Layer discs made in Singapore.

Burn speed, and Disc Brand you use?

my mate who successfully copies them uses them aone discs and there perfect for him and the tutorial on this site recommend them infarct it only recommends them and verbatim..

i use aone discs and at first i tried at 4x it said at the screen log .. wanted 4x got 2x
so it burns at 2x

i then tried selecting 2.4x and it did the same but it burning at 2x overall

this may be a stupid question but is your 360 modded?

if so... try using the games that you burnt on your buddies system and then the opposite. borrow some games from him and see if they work on yours.

I have never got Aone discs to work, wasted a full 10 pack. I only use Verbs or Ritek Arita. I would suggest you try another make to rule out disc or burning Issue

yep its modded has been for agess and i sent the game over to his earlier today and he tried it on both of his as i thought it might ber co i had mine modded for about 2 years nearly now and thought it might need updating firmware but it didnt work on either of his 360's

im confused ?? if it works for my mate with same discs same way but not mine ?? confusion or what ... what confuses me most i it b urn perfectly without erors

yeh thanks i suppose ill have to give that a go ill try borrow a blank disc of sum1 that way saves me wasting almost another tenner!
