You seem very knowledgeable, so I was hoping it wouldn't be too much trouble to ask you for help.
Alright, so I used this tut and have encountered some problems. I am 99% sure it's me doing something wrong and not something wrong with the tutorial, but I would like some feedback.
Ok, I started off by getting the Halo 2 files. I did this by connecting my modded xbox to my PC through FTP, then copying the files directly from the H2 disc which was in the xbox's disc drive.
Then I got the layout file.
After that I continued to follow the tutorial and opened up MooGUI. These are the settings I used.
This is where I ran into some problems. The tutorial never said anything about deleting single player maps, but when I tried to burn it with all the single player maps it said there was not enough space, therefore I removed them from the folder. Now that I've deleted the maps, the disc will burn. However my program does not say 'A message will appear telling you theres some files missing in the layout and if you want to continue anyway, press Yes.' as it said it would in the tutorial, it instead does not give me an option to continue until I remove all the files from the layout
So now I open DvdMulleter and Select Build/Rebuild and existing ISO.
I continue on as the tutorial says, select create standard ISO, and all the XBE's are validated. I then get to this screen.
and leave the settings alone just as the tutorial says. (I linked an image in case these settings aren't actually correct.
I continue on and make the ISO. It completes.
I now go on to inject the maps I already have modded, so I open up ISO injector 1.1
I try to open Halo 2 but when I select open ISO I can not find it under ISO, so I must select all files (not sure if that's supposed to happen not)
Now I find it and go down to halo 2, select the maps I want to inject and inject them.
Now I go onto the actual burning process. I use IMGburn and these are the settings I used.
It completes just fine, and I throw it in my xbox. This is the message I get.
I would appreciate any help than anyone can give me. I would like to figure out what's wrong and fix it ASAP.
Some additional information about this is I've tried doing this on a Verabatim DVD+R DL disc first. It didn't work and I assumed maybe it was because the disc was scratched, so next I tried it on a memorex DVD+R DL (it wasn't scratched) and it didn't work. Then I got to thinking, well maybe since this tut is for single layer discs it won't work with dual layers. So then I tried a memorex DVD+R that wasn't scratched and still got this error message.
