im a bit out of date on how to get keys off the new 0251 firmware. this xbox was a gift, never been flashed. drive is a liteon 83850c v1 with 0251 firmware. i have my ck3 with probe. all i need is the key. can any one direct me how to do it with out soldering mra hack? my skills are at lvl requirement. lol.

Use the PMT Method (does not require cutting and soldering but you need to probe MPX01)to get the keys using JF 1.83 or above once you have 0251c Firmware on the drive.The older Jungle Flasher application (viz. below ver. 1.83 )will give you "Phat Key extraction failed" while trying to dump the Firmware from the drive or "Parse Failed" if you load the currently dumped firmware.

Well I'm going crazy...

JF and CK3+Probe3 all good and working.
But I have done it by the book 15 times...and I'm still unable to the key.

I flashed to 1.6 and now with the new dashboard (2.0.13599.0)I have to re-flash.

Can I erase and load my key from previous flashing?
I worried out losing the 2.0.13599.0 dashboard flashing to 0251.

I had the same problem the trick is when probing with probe three you are probably powering the drive off. Do not do that what u need to do is hit the phat key press yes when asked to probe mpx01 hold down the button on probe and set the probe on mpx01 then release the button you should receive a message stating extract complete remove probe do so. When probe is removed press the button on the probe again led off then release. now hit okay and it should ask you to save the dummy.bin file. Worked for me like that from a great guide. Hope you get there. :-)

If you've already got the key from a previous flash you did, you don't need to dump it again. Use your original dump as the source, the LT+ version you want to flash with as the target, create your custom firmware, then erase and flash.
