my girlfriend got her xbox modded and it was fine with wave 3 but it wont play wave games even with the boot disc and i dont know what to do to get them to play.does it need the update? and if sois there somewhere i can get it without getting online. im lost=[

It will depend on what drive you have and firmware. If you have a BenQ or Sammy then you can update to 1.61 firmware.

If you have a Lite-ON flashed with 1.51 then you need to flash it to 1.6 and use the activate disc. If you have 1.6 then you should already be able to play any wave disc using the activate disc.

If you have to pay someone to flash the system then I would wait till LT firmware comes out and have them flash that to the drive.
