help me setup my netgear WNDR3400 to run better on xbox live

I just bought this router yesterday and the only problem I am having is when my son is watching videos on youtube my xbox live connection drops to almost nothing. Any other time I have full upload or at least close. What would be the ideal setup to optimize the xbox live connection?

The xbox is wired to the router. My upload speed is 512Kbps max. I have one computer wired to the router (this is the one my son is watching youtube on) and a wireless laptop. I tried Qos setting but unsure what ports to use. Not very much info out there concerning this situation with this router.

My router is equipped to change Qos, UPnP, Static IP, or Port Forwarding/Triggering.

I am playing COD Black Ops, I know about the problems they have been having with their servers, but I am only having this happen when my son is on the wired computer.

Why not get a bandwidth monitor/re-stricter program for the computer to slow the upload/download speeds? That should take care of your problem with any kind of lag issues and optimize your live connection. Of course, when you're not on the 360, you might want to disable the program to keep your son happy.

I can restrict bandwith in my router options and I will have to give that a try.
