Hey everyone

So I just got my xbox modded this week and burned my first backup. It played fine on my xbox and everything but then I tried to use it on my Buddys modded xbox. His has been modded for a while and does play older burned games like ufc 2009. Why won't his play a newer burned game such as NCAA 11? Do you need to update the mod periodically? And if so can someone point me in the direction of learning how to? It is burned ona verbatim and the older discs we tried were memorex. Does that have anything to do with it? Thanks everyone for your help!

Could be a few things: outdated firmware that requires a boot disk to boot up, a weak laser that needs to be replaced or tweaked, or simply a bad burn...even though it will play on yours...your laser may just read better.
