Ok so I am trying to figure out how to rip clip scenes from my Xbox 360. I have no knowledge what so ever on what software I will need to use and how to accomplish this from start to finish. If anyone knows how to rip clip scenes from the Xbox 360 and would be willing to give me an in-depth step by step walkthrough on how it is done I would be so grateful!!! Also I was wondering if ripping clip scenes from the 360 would hurt the game discs in any way or if it takes the clips off the game making it not work? Because I don't want to damage my games. Thanks again for any help anyone would be willing to give me.
I have tried other methods of capturing game clip scenes but they have never been close to the quality of the originals on the games so that is why I am wanting to learn how to Rip them as I would think the quality would be very close to the originals doing it that way. I edit with game clip scenes that is why it is important for me to have as high a quality as possible.

Are you looking to record clip scenes of gameplay? If so, you need a capture card. Something like this,USB 2.0 Audio Video DVR Adapter Capture 4 Channel.
Not my gameplay per say just the animated clips scenes. I have something similar to this already called the Gamebridge but the quality is not high as I would like. I want to get the clips in HD or as close to the original quality that is on the actual disc as possible. That is why I am looking into how to rip them. Thanks so much anyway!!! I'm not sure if you can rip clips from games like you can do with DVDs. But there are several fairly low-cost HDcapture cards out there now, that you can record through HDMI. I have the AverMedia HDDVR. It works great, and it's probably the cheapest HDMI recording device you'll find. There is also the Black Magic Intensity series, which is more expensive, and requires a higher end PC, or the Hauppauge HD PVR, which you can record in HD through component cables. It is also a little more expensive, but I believe it is the most popular amongst the 3.
