Help regarding my Modded Xbox 360 Firmware

It's been a while since I was in the modding scene but I want to try out the new madden. I have 1.5 FW for my Samsung. My xbox is banned. I used to patch my games to wave 3 and they would play without any problems but now i'm reading that they have wave 12 games and new dashboard updates. I just want to know how to get new games played on my old phat samsung drives. Can I patch the new games to wave 3? Any help would be really appreciated.

You can't patch wave 12 and 13 games to an earlier wave because they won't boot.

The best solution for you is this: -

1. Flash your 360 back to stock
2. Update the dashboard to the latest
3. Flash your 360 to the latest LT+ for your drive (1.9 for Samsungs I think)

This is probably what we're going to have to do with every dashboard update going forward as a lot of people are having issues trying to update their dashboard when their drive isn't flashed back to stock (although it works fine for some, but I wouldn't risk it).

The last time an update came out I just used a usb flash drive to update the dashboard and then my patched games worked. Couldnt I still use a usb flash drive to install the update and then continue to patch new games to wave 3? I honestly dont know how to flash the drive nor do I have the tools to do so. An honest reply would be much appreciated.

What you may not know is the latest dashboard update 13599 will flash your dvd drive back to stock and update your dashboard. Since it flashes your dvd drive that is why it is important to flash back to stock then after the update reflash your dvd drive with LT+1.91. If you didn't flash your drive originally you may want to send it to someone to flash or if you have a friend who can do it let them do it for you. If none of that works for you download the jungleflasher tutorial and it will guide you step by step on how it is done. Trust me it looks difficult but is really easy. Reply back to this thread if you cant find the tutorial. Just Google it.

Just realized you have a samsung drive! You still need to update your drive and dash but you need firmware LT+1.9 not LT+1.91

I followed the instructions from funksoulb and everything is working fine now. It's pretty easy following jungleflasher. I forgot what I used the first time but it was more complicated.

Hey all,

Thought I would add to this question instead of starting a new one.

I had someone flash my drive years ago, Ive read the Jungleflasher tutorial and figured out it is a Hitachi drive. I have since moved away from the person that flashed it so I dont have the original stock, does this matter? And if it does how would I go about resetting my drive back to stock settings? I believe my firmware was 1.5 or 1.51 its been so long though I dont remember.

Im thinking of doing it myself, it doesnt seem overly complicated but want to confirm that using the USBPRO and a Pro CK3 would work? And if that works the only thing I would need is to get back to stock firmware.
