I have a hitachi-79 that I flashed and I'm unable to restore it back to original firmware. I flashed it with JF and got the original stock firmware saved. I used JF's "restore to stock" feature after having my drive in mode B and unlocked. When i hit it, I just get a message saying MD5 Checksum Failed.
The drive will still open and close and it's being recognize, i just can't restore it. Is there anything I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to run the 79 Unlock CD.

I've ran the unlock cd it unlocks at around 500ms. Then i click on the restore to stock option, and that's when i get the message about the md5 hash checksum in the original firmware. I don't know what to do to get it back to stock, it is still at IX 1.51

Yeah I moved it there and renamed it to the file that JF was looking for. orig79-4D20.bin

You need to get the orig 79 firmware the JF team released. That is why the hash is failing.
