This issue is driving me absolutley crazy, hopefully someone can help with good advice:)
I'be flashed my Benq an friend's Benq drives a few tiems already. The 2 recent times I've done so were using my current system: Windows 7 64.
Last two flashes were: stock --> 1.61 and 1.61 --> LT 1.0
These upgrades were done using my onboard IntelSATA.
Now, here is were trouble begins:
Recently, I attempt to upgrade friend's 1.61 -->Lt 1.0 and have issues with being able to detect/see the drive with DOSFlash and latest JF. When I finally see it via DOSFLash I attempt to flash it and it freezes at Writing Bank 0. (had friend bring back drive via his home setup, using iPrep I believe
I then try to see if I can detect my drive, in order to upgrade to LT 1.1 and can't recognize/see that drive at all. I play it safe, and even order the appropriate VIA chipset sata card only to get the same exact issue.

Hey Mike,
Initially, I was using my onboard IntelSATA w/o issue. Once this issue surfaced (seemingly out of the blue) I purchased a VT6421 card. I've tried it with the latest VIA drivers (which cause it to show as VT3210 or such) and with stock Win 7 drivers which list it as VT3210.
Which should I use? Would I have better luck trying via a DOS based flashdrive boot?
i use a 6421 card try updating the drivers (i believe 5.80) from the via website, make sure portio32 is installed and shows a running in jf (if you use jf) and make sure the drive is in vendor BEFORE you start jf (1.73). thats all i could think of
also lkooks like your using dos based flashing i would highly suggest using jungleflasher over any dos application. very easy many tutorials.
