hi
i have a modded xbox, 1st gen console. i can play any burned disks on, however i got nfs : HP recently and when i inserted it, i got amesage saying that i need to update something to play it, i clicked yes, it was updated but after the update it says disk is unreadable, however i am still able to play all my other games. what should be done or what has gone wrong.

That sounds like another AP2.5 issue to me. Which firmware is the console flashed with? It has to be flashed with LT+ 1.0 or 1.1 in order to play AP2.5 protected games. Also, the game itself needs to be patched specifically to combat the AP2.5 protection, so if you didn't do that, you'll need to rip the game, run it through abgx360 to patch it, then re-burn it. Chances are your console has now been flagged for a ban, but you can check the status of that with Xval 2.0.
