help with abgx 1.05 and burning back ups

I have a couple of Noob questions I hope you don't mind helping me out.....

I have got a 360 with the new LT+ firmware which I use for xbox live, and I have one I use at work which has the older LT firmware on which isn't used for Live.

I know how to burn games (after a lot of reading on here!) through abgx 1.05 for my xbox with the new firmware (LT+) but I don't know how to burn AP2.5 games for the xbox with the previous LT firmware on it, as I have heard that you can't play AP2.5 games unless you have the new firmware. Is that true?

Will AP2.5 games still work on an xbox with the previous LT firmware on it burned through abgx1.05? or does the firmware need to be LT+ for AP2.5 games to work?

It all depends on what DVD drive you have in your xbox, if you have a Lite-on, BenQ or later Hitachi then it wont work, if you have a Samsung and a older Hitachi they should boot.

It's a Lite On drive if I remember rightly, is there any way of patching the game back to an earlier wave? Someone told me that you can patch it back using ppf but I don't entirely believe the person who told me so I thought I would ask on here before I try!

I don't believe that you can wave patch AP25, i may be wrong however.
