I actually got one of those and it never worked. Than i just followed this guide here and made my own. if ur not into that i suggest a different probe like this or somethings else.

With the kit I posted, I'm pretty sure that is all you need to get the job done - you just use the 360 to power the drive. I don't think there are any guides to make the usb extractor, but the serial version that I posted worked well - if you don't have any serial ports on your machine than you can just get a usb to serial adapter, I think...
I just would mess around with the Tiao USB extractor, since the one I got was either broken or just so happened to of not worked on the 2 PC I tried it on...
