okay, I don't have a connectivity kit. My liteon drive already as 1.51 firmware on it.

I keep the drive in the xbox 360 and just plug in the sata cable. I have windows 7 32 bit and portio32 is installed.

I power on the drive - eject the drive - turn off the xbox 360 and turn it back on..keep a hold of the dvd drive so it doesn't move. I think get solid blinking green lights.

I open up jungleflasher it only shows my WD 80 gig SATA DRIVE - it finds no cd/dvd drives.

the motherboard is a Asus v8n-vm with an nforce sata chipset.

any ideas?
