hello, i get everything set up with the game in the tray, xbc 2.9 detects the drive, i click start and it starts reading but then randomley crashes at different parts, under 10% the pc crashes and the xbox turns off? why is this happening, i have a benq drive flashed with 1.6. is there any other methods, please help

is there a step by step anywhere what will go through it with me, because i cannot get xbc to detect my xbox at times, im doing sumthing wrong

The XBOX 360 will power off after awhile if the video cable isn't plugged in.

and which 1.6 do you have on your drive, the 0800 version, or the normal i want to play games version?

its an intel one, i have done it before and worked, its ok its working now friend. thanks for the help about the video cable, it was driving me insane!. ill come back to u if i need further help thanks!

its the 1.6 with 0800 it still allows me to play games though,

hey again, my brother messed with the pc and i cannot get it to detect it, i have it in 0800 mode the light is flashing, tray is half open, do i have it like tht then turn on the pc? or what? cause this is really starting to annoy me

Any time the drive is powered off, it will take it out of 0800 mode.
Close the tray and shut the drive off. Turn the drive back on and eject the tray. Unplug the DVD drive power cable and push the tray half way in. Connect the DVD drive power cable. Windows should go ahead and recognize the drive.

ok i have got it detected again, it is now reading the game. if it crashes what does this indicate?

Possibly an incompatible SATA chipset.
