What are you guess talking about xp boot usb, it doesn't matter what OS your system runs on and as far as I know it wouldn't even be smart to have your OS drive connected to the pc while doing this because I don't no what could happen to it. The program is it dos, which is command line which is why you have to restart your computer and boot from the flash drive. If it had anything to do with what kind of os your computer used than they wouldn't need to restart the computer at all, my desktop is a 64 bit and it works fine.

1. Try using UNetbootin (Link here), use freedos in the drop down list and format it.
2. Drag the hddhackr program and the 250bin file into the usb.
3. Turn off your computer disconnect your computer hard drive.
4. Connect your 360 hard drive you wanna flash.
5. Turn your computer on with the usb drive inserted, tell your pc to boot from the usb.
6. If it works it will boot into some command line look.
7. Type in hddhackr and you should be able to take it from there by following the instructions on screen.
And thats my basic bootable usb tutorial hope it helps anyone.

If I were to create a 360 HDD will it ban my 360 from LIVE during the November sweeps? I just want to upgrade from my 20GB to the 250GB; no game save mods.

Keep an eye on Amazon. When I was looking to buy my drive, the prices bounced between $48 and $58, free shipping. Buy.com has it right now for $52 free shipping.
