A friend of mine is having trouble with his 360 and I said I would take a look at it for him. About a week ago he got ROD, and also said that his disc tray wouldn't open. I decided to try to get drive fixed first. I flashed the drive a few months ago, and everything went ok. I did not brick it and it worked perfect until ROD. I can get the drive open manually, but when I power it up it closes itself and attempts to read a disc or appears so. But when I flip the eject button on connectivity kit it doesn't eject, or do anything at all. I don't know what it could be. It almost acts like a drive with no firmware, but that's impossible because it worked for months after I flashed it, and it will close itself and try to read discs. I appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.
