Hitachi 46 wont read backup games

I have a problem with a hitachi, last night I flashed a 46 with 1.51 when i Did it comes back and will read standard media but no backup media for some reason, I thought maybe the flash didn't go through correct or i accidently flashed it to stock again... but i put the drive back on jungleflasher and it read ixtreme 151 so I re flashed to stock, then reflashed it back to 151 and the same thing is happening, i have included the JF log maybe someone can help me here to see what went wrong????

Is it possible for the laser to be weak and not able to read burned media(this was for a friend and he had problems reading stock media until we cleaned the laser eye.
