I have a Hitachi 79 drive here, and have gotten it into mode b, but when I insert the unlock cd, the entirety of windows locks u completely. I'm not sure what could be causing this, I've tried chancing the SATA in my Bios from compatible to advances, as I saw that as a solution, but it has done nothing for my issue. Has anyone dealt with this before and found a solution? Help would be greatly appreciated.
I have atempted the same thing now, but using Jungleflasher. I get the drive into mode-b just fine again, but then when I click the 79 unlock, the program, along with all of windows, locks up, and won't unlock until I turn off the Hitachi drive.
yep mine to,,i tried 3 different computers and i can also get it into mode B with jungleflasher,,and when i play the unlock cd,,jungleflasher freezes,,this ones got me to,,the drive is spoofed as a benq,,wonder does that have anything to do with it,,cheers
