So my xbox originally came with a hitachi version 47 drive, i got a replacement, but the idiot sent me a version 46 instead of a 47 like i requested, can i just flash the 47 firmware on it or does it have to be spoofed

i dont want to spoof to lessen my chance of getting banned, should i just send the drive back for another??

Are you going to play live?? if you arent then you can spoof it. The hardware is different so its probably going to be detectable on live. SO if you are thinking about live then i suggest you swap your hitachi 46 for a 47
