Do you remember a time where you had no problems flashing a Hitachi driver? Remember that tranquil moment was right before Jungleflasher surfaced? Come on, try to remember? Ask yourself this... How did you flash your driver before????? Well if you can?t remember, here?s my solution???. UNINSTALL THAT GOT DAMN PORTIO32 AND INSTALL YOUR VIA CARD LIKE YOU USE TO! Or of you have an onboard sata port that works, UNINSTALL THAT GOT DAMN PORTIO32!

Don?t get me wrong, POrtIO32 is great, but I think it's conflicting with the Hitachi drivers on some motherboards. I?ve tried everything from Slax, Modeb.exe, Jungleflasher, CK3, and Xtractor Reader to get my driver into B mode. When I finally did get it into B Mode, it froze up during the restore or the initial flash. So I uninstalled portIO32 and installed my VIA card again and it worked like a charm! I also used my onboard sata to see if that worked too and it did! I know the old way was with programs like "iXtreme1.4_Hitachi_C4EVA_rev1"... Well just use the new "Firmware Toolbox 4.8"......... So try doing it the old flashin' way! LOL!
