Hi guys, I'm off to uni and i'm not taking a TV with me because of the TV licence, is there a way I can like buy a Scart to USB cable and have the display run on my laptop screen? I was thinking either to do this with my xbox but I think the scart bit is different either with that or my N64 and good ol golden eye.

There is no direct adaptor that you can get from SCART to USB, you would need either a USB or PCMCIA TV card with the correct inputs to so this.

Thanks I've searched for this but I can only find these CardBus's with either firewire, USB or R232 for the coms port but I'm still to find one for a scart/phono cables. Could you point me in the right direction please.
