How are offline achievements sorted?

Since they do not have a visible timestamp, are they just displayed after the online achievements, or do they have some sort of invisible timestamp that is used when sorting achievements by date?

I'm assuming they have some kind of timestamp. Even if the XBOX 360 isn't connected to Live, there is still as system clock running.
