im trying to make a lite-on power cable that i can hook up to a molex in my computer so that i can power the lite-on drive and flash it without the xbox. i understand the eject line must be connected to a ground to eject but does anyone know what i should run each line to exactly to make a power cable..i have a 12 pin female power connector with lots of wire so i can make it myself but i need to know what is what..such as the 1 pin is tx and the 2 pin is rx and the 3 pin is eject...but is 1 and 2 even necessary for flashing it? what do i need to hook up to power the drive with my computer (and i am not buying anything..i mean what to make) so that i dont have to have the xbox connected to my computer at the hip lol..also if it is too complicated then does the AV cable on the xbox need to be plugged into a tv to keep it on while flashing or just the port in the back need plugged in? cause if thats the case i will just drag my xbox back to the office when i do it..but if it needs hooked to the tv than i got to drag it into the front room to do the flash along with my whole tower that weighs almost 100lbs

Though they play an important role in the early stage, the techniques should not be too mechanical, complex or restrictive. If we cling blindly to them, we shall eventually become bound by their limitations.

The av cables only need to be plugged into the xbox and not the tv.
