How do I rip xgd3 games?

I use to backup all my originals using my kreon drive but notice xgd3 games like gears of war cannot be read by this drive anymore. I have my 360 updated to the latest firmware and understand that you need to use another 360 drive to rip the games from. I have another benq drive that has been updated with firmware needed. My question is where do I go from here? How do I connect it to my computer and rip it? What additional hardware or software is needed? Any help/advice/ tutorials/videos would be much appreciated. Sorry if I am being a noob.

When I connect the drive to the computer will the Satan cable provide the power or will it will need to be plugged into an xbox360 motherboard? will the ripped iso need to be patched or burned right from the ripped iso?

That's new for me. What is the difference between the xecuter ck3 lite and pro?
