How do I upgrade my 1.4 to 1.6?

Can this work??
I have BenQ and already flashed with 1.41.
Im trying to update it with 1.6 and here's what I did.
I DL the iXtreme 1.6 and extracted it.
re-name the .bin file ----> Benq_CFW.bin
and I replaced it with the one in UBS boot disk.
I ran the iPrep as usual and used the fBen command without doing dumping OFW file.
I did that and my non-stealthed back-up are still playing...
hm...

i believe you have to go back to orig. before you flash.

really???
dang....
I do have the originals backed up so I should re-name the OFW as CFW and use the fBen command...right?
and then do all over again?
Do I really have to go back to Original tho???

? just pick your orig. key and use fben to 1.6, then load your 1.6 cracked fw and do fben. i think thats it, i dunno been awhile since i used iprep.

You can write iXtreme firmware over iXtreme firwmare with the BenQ. Just dump the key and spoof it to IX 1.6 and flash.

or, if using dosflash (what i use), just read the benq firmware then write, as if doing it from stock firmware.

what's spoof ..? Sorry I'm still noob so LOL
so i have to use some program to get the key from flashed drive?

So I have to get the keys from OFW and put it into 1.6 and then flash it right?
There's program for getting the keys from OFW also right?

if you read off the drive now it has the keys you need ,,then just spoof it to your drive and your good to go,,cheers

ok here is my situation.
My drive is 1.41. I made brand new USB booting disk using iprep and cfw is 1.6
when I was trying to use dBen command, PC frozed.
So I re-named the 1.6 cfw ---> benq_cfw.bin
and I booted PC, used fBen command without dumping the ofw.
But I think my drive wasn't really flashed to 1.6
So what should I do now?
