How am I able to connect the Liteon 83850C Drive to the computer?
I have the VIA 6421 PCI Card. This is what I understand so far I put the PCI Card into the computer and then I connect the sata cord from the back of the Lite-on to the 6421A PCI Card. I have not taken out my previous PCI Card as well I am not sure if this is a problem. Am I also meant to connect the white cord from within the xbox console to the back of the Drive or just leave it and not plug it in. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yours sincerely

wow...Please send your console to someone who knows how. Previous PCI card? LOL

I'm guessing you don't have the Flux capacitor setup and installed properly. If you get that baby up to 88mph, you can then dump the firmware.

I am under the impression that you do not need a CK3 Kit for the 83850C Liteon Drive

I have V1 I believe as it was made in June. Could some1 just answer my original question of whether I need to connect the white cable into the back of the drive?

Which white cable? They are both black AFAIK

If you mean the one with the white plug, this is the power connector. If you are not using a connectivity kit to power the drive, you need to leave this plugged in to you xbox

Google "Jungleflasher PDF", this guide will show you what you need to do.
