How I Re Enabled installs on my banned 360.

My 360 (Lite On ix 1.51) has been giving me problems with newer releases lately. I was banned back I'm November when the hammer came down and have been unable to install since then.

Today I took apart my box, cleaned out the dust, and put it back together. It was still giving me problems.

I have been patching my games to work with my fw since there is no point in updating since I can't go online. As a last ditch effort, figuring the patching was interfering with the updates on the disc, I updated my dashboard via USB.

After the update, I could install games again. I don't know why or how, but it worked, so I'm spreading the word. I don't post here often, but I do lurk, so I decided i would give back. I hope this helps at least one other person.
