and how many times can you reflow it till the console is completely broken and irreparable?

if you do the xclamp fix which in my opinion is the cause of most rrod's and then reflow it correctly then that should give your console a lot of life .

it could last a long time - I've done some repairs over a year ago that are still good to this day. You need to take care of the console and keep it cool. After it RRoDs a 2nd time you should probably just look into getting a new 360 or pay someone to professionally reflow it.

My 360 rrod for the second time a couple of months ago so I reflowed with a heat gun, used arctic silver 5, and installed a whisper max fan. I install my games to the HDD and keep the fan on 12v so I don't expect any problems for a long time.
