Unless you are using a jtag then it isn't going to do you much good since the dlc is only going to work with xbox it was purchased on or you have to be signed into live with gamertag that was used. There are hacked gamertags that can load dlc, but dont know much about it, and wouldn't try it on live unless you want to get banned.

Using modio to assign dlc that you haven't purchased is a big red flag for M$. They might not catch it right away, but you have a very high chance of getting a gamertag ban. I don't use modio on any account that I take on live. Call me paranoid, but the $60 a year that I pay, I don't want to lose.

I never use modio to assign any DLC, I'm asking because of the GOW3 beta that is going online right now, ultimetly it is a demo not a DLC you have to pay for.
Haven't tried to play the gow3 beta but more than likely you will have to be signed into live to play it like with moh beta, and you will also have to be registered in the beta program or it wont work either.

I did try it, it worked fine, but I just wanted to know if this being a demo would get my account banned or if it was ok.
