How to correctly set up a Backup with AbgX360.

I have a backup of Halo Reach on LT v1.1 for lite on drive and it just stays on black screen.

What I did?
Set the "AutoFix Threshold" to Level 3
Went to Misc tab and in the SplitVid i changed it to "Add it if it doesn't exist or isn't valid"

Then i launched and burned the finished file using IMG Burn

Does anyone know what I did wrong?

Here's what the settings that i changed in Abgx360 according to that video

I'm not sure if that is right but i figured out the "version of the game" from abgx360 by looking at the codes that it showed for the DMI and SS file, Is that right?
Here's how i found the version-


Also cant you do it with Abgx360 doing all of the patching automatically?
I want to make sure that everything is right before i try burning again.

see the yellow line. AP2.5 needs to be patched ether by ABGX or by hand. Unless you have the lastest dash that just came out installed. Then none of the current AP2.5 games with work.


Edit.

i just looked at those options you picked. i only change those when patching SS to version 2 which from your screen shot it has already. use the default options and let it patch AP2.5

I do have the latest dash installed, but i reflashed to LT v1.1. That wont play AP2.5 games?

Nah i believe it won't. I haven't upgraded yet my self. but from what ive read they changed the AP2.5 table in the new dash, so new AP2.5 patches need to be made.

The answer is in your abgx. It's not setup correctly. You have it setup to patch SSV2, but you need to revert your settings back again and then run a second time.

What do you mean "Revert your settings back again"? Does that mean i need to re-backup halo reach? and then run that through? or just go back to the default settings in abgx and run it with it patching SSV2?

yea just go back to default settings. what you changed i only do when patching to SSv2. once that is patched i close ABGX and force it back to default settings and run it on the iso again. I even run it again on the DVD after bruning just to make sure it still checks out all green.

So Backups should work with the new dashboard update and LT v 1.1? So was the person that was talking before (up at the top) Wrong? I just want to clarify everything before i start wasting discs.

I believe this still correct for ABGX. its in the sticky at the top. you really just need to make sure everything is green.

You can reflash to LT1.1 and backups work. but its been said it not XBL live safe. Im not 100% but i think the AP2.5 table change, so any backup needs a update which is not released. this doesn't effect retail games.

2) A new AP25 challenge table

The six games that were AP25-active in 12625 are still active in 13140-6 - all known language versions of AC:B, Fable III, NFS:HP, Halo Reach, CoD:MW2, CoD:BO. However current genuine AP25-patched backups of these games do not boot with LT+ because the challenges have changed. These six games will need to be re-burned with new patches to play on 1314x.

You said the AP2.5 tables changed? and they haven't released a update? Wouldnt this mean that those games that you listed that had their tables changed wouldnt work because there is no update for the AP2.5?

im pretty sure thats correct if you updated your dash. i cant comfirm other then what ive read because i haven't updated yet.
