Hey guys, as with a lot of people on here, I've been weary about the most recent dash update and stayed offline until the smoke cleared out a little. The drives I have in my 360's are Lite-on 83850c V1 and 74850c. Having tried to keep up to date with what's happening in the scene at the moment, it's clear that AP2.5 games don't boot following the update so I won't be updating until the AP2.5 challenges have been defeated as I'd like to continue playing Halo Reach offline whilst I cannot play it online.

So, to my question: how should I go about updating these two drives? at the moment they are both on Lt1.9+ since I had to update them for the May update. The safest bet (which is always the one I'll choose, within reason, when flashing) would be to go back to stock firmware and updating both drives dashboards and then re-flashing with Lt1.9+, right? but what is considered stock in my circumstance? as I remember vaguely that considering the May update flashed drives they wouldn't actually be 'stock' anymore, but rather a new firmware. Any advice from the pros on here in regards to this would be much appreciated!

load your "dummy.bin" as the source and say no to autoloading firmware, then load "orig-02510C-1c000.bin" as the target(found in the OFW folder), spoof, erase, write, outro.

you are still working with the first lt1.9+ firmware pack. the new packs only have firmware for the slim drives. since you have the 13141 dashboard use the firmware in the "LiteOn_Post_13141" folder.

Thanks for that mate. Following the news of LT+ 1.91 now being on the verge of release I'm going to wait until that's out as I'm sure many others are. Is orig-02510C-1c000.bin the relevant firmware for the update for both my 74850c and 83850c? thanks again!

yes, that's the 'stock' firmware for liteons after the dashboard update flashed them
