You need to dump your firmware with jungleflasher in order to find out which firmware is on it. If it doesn't read wave 4 and up backups, it's likely that you have 1.6 or below. The newest firmware for BenQ is LT 1.2 .
the problem is my XBOX does not play 2009, 2010 games, and I am new with XBOX and just thinking in opening XBOX freaks me out, I may screw it up, do you think the firmware in that case is older than 1.6?

It sounds like you are on older firmware, you can patch your ISO's before you burn them but will prolly get you banned. if you dont reflash it you cant play the latest game. Only you can choose which way you want to go
In regards to Title/Dashboard updates, you should be fine.
