I wanted to mod my xbox 360 so i opened it up with my knife and then i plugged the usb into my computer but its not showing up as anything and also now i cant put the case back on my xbox for some reason its not sticking together should i use glue?

i also used glue to make the usb cord i cut my ipod cord and glued the other end to the usb end of my mouse will this work?

my friend at school told my that i had to do this to mod my xbox and then i had to put a magnet on my xbox's hard drive then i plug it into my xbox and i go to the c drive and delete the WINDOWS folder
