i cant get it to work. my nat is open and my brothers is either moderate or strict

Set your Xbox with a Static IP, then forward 3074 to that IP on your router.

There are a few more ports that you may have to forward to be able to get an open nat just follow instructions on this Page. And like modking said best to use static ips on both and forward ports for each xbox's ip.
