How to recover lost dvd key for benq drive

While trying to figure out how to get past the update screen I noticed that my dvd key is all 7s. So now I have to ask... Is there a way to get your dvd if you have lost the original firmware. I have done a lot of research and there is just too many conflicting answers. Is seems like this is the place to go where people know... so please someone just help me out. Thanks

If you can jailbreak it, maybe. With the new chip, another maybe. You have to recover the key from the mainboard.

download the new jf with firmware thats ur problem u are using an old jf that reads the drive as 777777ss

I am using the current version... It shows all F's... I was wrong in the original post. I have lost the key.. the Xbox was given to me hacked... And I guess they lost the key and never gave me the original. Is there a wway to get the key off the motherboard?
