My Benq drive recently crapped out on me and I opened it up and did manage to recover it for a total of one day. I re-opened it but now it will not work no matter what I do. I placed an order for a new Samsung drive today.

Problem: I don't quite know how to go about replacing the drives.

Apparently more goes into it than a simple swap. Who would've thought? I downloaded JungleFlasher and read the tutorials but I'm still unsure as to how to go about dumping my old drive and flashing my new one (when it arrives).

What do I need in order to go though with this?

Also, is there anyway I can flash my new drive and be able to play copies of back-up games?

your lucky as you have two easy drives, the Benq just hook it up and simply use the Jungle Flasher tutorial to find out how to dump and re-flash. But you won't be able to go on-line unless you have the same drive, because this will require spoofing and Microsoft can detect spoofing.

please if your asking about xbox 360 firmware, LT+, how to cut and solder, what drive you have and such check this PDF file

Right now how exactly do I go about hooking either drive up to my PC to be able to use JungleFlasher?

ah right, okay your pc motherboard will need a SATA ports. if it doesn't have those then you will need to buy a SATA card. Then you open up the 360 connect the SATA cable to the pc, then power on the X BOX 360 and then power on the PC.

What operating system are you using? If it's Windows Vista or Windows 7 you will need to press F8 after the BIOS and choose the option that disables driver enforcement or something like that, after that you can just follow the jungle flasher tutorial, it's a step by step guide.
