Ok, I know there are lots of tutorials out there on how to spoof dvd drives on the xbox 360, but I have a different problem.
Since I am running on a 64-bit computer, Jungle flasher will not let me install the portio required driver. So I am going to use Iprep/dosflash to do this.
But, how do I extract the dvd key from iprep? Can I please have some detailed instructions on extracting the key using iprep? Will just reading the firmware be enough and where would this be saved? Don't I have to use benofw.bin, so will this become my dvd key? PLEASEEEEEE HELP! Im really confused about all of this now....

You can use DosFlash64 to extract the BenQ key.
http://www.360mods.net/index.php?name=Do...e=details&id=86
Once you dump the key, you can use Jungle Flasher to prepare your firmware. Load the original firmware (the one with your DVDkey into source). Load iX 1.61 or stock BenQ into target and click spoof source to target. Go ahead and right the firmware.
If you need to dump the key off of your new BenQ, do so before flashing.

Tried the dosflash 64, but I get an error message stating can't install portio.sys driver. I think this error is similar to the one i get in jungle flasher.
I uninstalled all virus software, and im running on windows 7 64 bit. Please help what should i do?

The problem is driver signature enforcement in Windows 7. This was contained in the link but I'll go ahead and copy/paste the easy method for you. :)
Quote: Safe Way of Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement
1) On Windows 7 bootup press F8 to get to the extended boot options screen
2) Choose "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
3) To start DosFlash right click on it in Windows Explorer and choose
"Run as administrator" > answer the message box with "Yes"
4) Short after the program started a "Program Compatibility Assistant" warning message
is displayed, you can simply ignore this by pressing the "Close" button

There wasnt a F8 button for me when i restarted my computer. All i had was F2 setup and F12 Boot options.
But anyways, I found this link thanks to you that did the trick and I was able to get dosflash working... now on to the hard part!

Your BIOS more than likely won't show F8, but just keep pressing it right after your PC completes POST in BIOS to booting the OS. Basically, just keep pressing F8 when you start up your PC.

Is there any way I can do this with iprep? I just tried reading the flash with dosflash64 and it doesnt read any of them. I keep on getting the status to switch from D1 to x80 to x90 and back and forth after cycling the drive.
I would prefer someone giving me info on doing this / extracting key with iprep, if at all possible because dosflash is just a pain in the arse for me!
