I PLAY HALO 3 ODST this is my Quick Short review.

well I downloaded Halo 3 odst a week ago at edited by ddp, Is the french version of course. I have been a fan of halo series since day 1, play halo 2 to dead and halo 3, I play online most of the time, so the campaign mode don't care much.
As a fan of halo, for what I have play I can say that I am disappointed with this new game, the story starts up very slow, the way you get to a mission is by walking around in this so call mombaza city that is almost empty, is plain bored. I expected more, is sad. I only notice they have a couple of new weapons, smg with a silencer I believe and the handgun with a scope wow! also you won't be able to use the sword is not in this game, sucks!one little irritating thing a found in this new game also, is that your life meter never goes back 100% like in halo 3, if you get hurt it only gives you half your energy, you got to find medic kits!!WTF!! you will spend most of the time looking at this irritating red screen!!!while you search the area for a medic pack!!!WTF again.
The new Handgun sound is very weak.
The only thing I like was the new Firefight mode, lot of people will play this.
Graphic wise this look just like halo 3, don't expect anything spectacular, same graphics, sound ok. The music in halo 3 is better.
What you really getting, if you decide to buy Halo 3 odst for $60 bucks, is 3 new maps, firefight mode and a keycode for the beta of the next halo reach.
I believe only hardcore gamers will buy this and when I say hardcore I am talking about the fellas that only play this game day and night and nothing else, for everyone else this is not a must buy, wait for modern warefare 2.

story: 6-10
music: 6-10
controls: 10-10
Halo 3 is better,story wise, this is just my opinion. Have any question let me know. I will give Halo 3 9 out 10! the new halo 7 out 10!

Since you're not a campaign player, I'll wait for a campaign/story enthusiast to give a review, but more than likely I'll just play/judge it myself (but not until the 22nd. I'm not that anxious).
As far as the multiplayer aspect, without even playing it, I know it will be good, it always is. Even if Bungie made changes to the multiplayer mode, everyone will adjust and accept it, and most will like it. That's always the case.
1 more week and we shall see, and thanks for your review.

You mentioned that you never played halo 1. This is where the scoped handgun and medic kits come from. Know your roots.

The campaign was absolutely fantastic. The storyline was great and the way the game told the story so dynamically was very interesting. This game is a lot more tactical than other halos and is a lot of the run in and kill as much as you can that other halos have. Your guy can't wistand as much damage as the Master Chief. There is actually a map in this game and a lot of times you'll be picking the best route to take and a lot of times you'll have to hang back and snipe enemies.
Overall amazing game...although it is a bit short.

Bungee is just repackaging Halo 3. They should have just made this the biggest and best game add-on ever! It's definitely worth some points, but anyone spending $60 on this game is getting ripped off. This is their way of holding off fans until Halo Reach, yet making a big buck at the same time (cuz they know people are dumb enough to buy)

You say your a big Halo fan but you got the title wrong, it's just Halo: ODST and even I know that you don't recharge like a Spartan, you are a actual person so yup, you health don't go up by itself.
Halo 3 was a short game clocking in at no more than six hours and even less with co-op on legendary. My friends and I know this and expect the same lenghth but our main reason for getting the game is firefight.

i played this game for about 4 hours today, and i must say i am not impressed. how are you supposed to play firefight if you cant search for a game?

I have to say i enjoy it more than 2 and 3 but not as much as the original. I like how they've toned you down a bit, its nice to play from a different perspective, although the story so far seems a little iffy, kind of corny and generic although still fun gameplay takes me back to halo 1 days (gotta love the pistol).

this game sux. game is about 2-3 hours. i ran through the whole damn game barely killin anything. the story is a frikin joke.

What do you expect when this game was originally just supposed to be DLC from xbox live. Microsoft just barely expanded it added multiplayer and the orginal $20 dlc is now 60.00. just a way to get more money.
