so i was testing an xbox that i had just replaced the xclamps for. i put it back together and plug it in, i then turn it on and i hear what sounds like electricity shorting violently. now i just get a 0102. before i just had a no audio and freezing at startup. what do you think?
its not fried it sounds as if youve short circuited your xbox not good but quite easy to fix if you have money then it will cost £100 if not then take out the xclamps you put in put in the old ones changing the positions of connected wires i.e red to black or whatever is opposite each wire then turn on your xbox wait for about 5mins then put the other xclamps back in putting all wires back to there original places then without inserting a game turn on your xbox wait another 5mins before dissconecting the power supply once there is no power supply connected leave it for 2-3mins reconnect power supply insert game then load your game

This does not sound at all right to me! What wires,? there are no wires to the xclamps, the only wires are for the fan and reversing them would only make the fan spin backwards? Why would this fix a short circuit?
will consider reballing, thank you peluynati for your feedback. deathruler, i have no idea what you are talking about, but what i do understand is not a good idea. do you mean the power supply when you say " take out the xclamps you put in put in the old ones changing the positions of connected wires i.e red to black or whatever is opposite each wire" if so not a good idea.
