I've heard a couple of rumours that iExtreme 1.6 will be the last firmware that will be developped.
I don`t think that is true but I just want to know if other people heard this?

There was the "Conspiracy Theory" after FoundMy release the 42$ method of decrypting your Lite-ON 83850C DVDkey. The firmware team was upset at the accusations that were being thrown around because they had no involvement. Only time will tell to see if they produce a new iXtreme or not. If in fact say Microsoft produces a new Wave 4 (which is probably bound to happen because of the August 12th update), just flash iXtreme 1.51 back to the drive.

Just don't reply to this post then if you find it stupid Guessswho (which is by the way in GENERAL discussion).

I don`t go off rumours for nothing. I heard this from different people and modders and wanted to have other people`s opinion before I buy the blaster 360 for future updates.

Some people say all questions are stupid and that you should read, but if everything was there and everything was read (searching isn't easy) then a forum would be pointless with no questions to ask or answer so I don't know why they do it.

I understand your question but unfortunately don't know the answer, the way I see it is we don't actually need an update for now unless there's a new wave again or something similar that will stop backups being played.
